- Avoid handling food.
- Use boil water.
Treatment
- Add healthy food and fruits to your diet.
- Stay hydrated i.e drink juices, water etc.
- Antibiotics e.g Ciprofloxacin are used to combat infection.
- Antipyretic drugs are given to normalize temperature.
- Complete bed rest is advised.
- The use of milk during typhoid fever is controversial because some people can not digest milk during typhoid but you can also take milk if you can digest it.
